My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello, I'm BOLT! I am maybe border collie about 1 year and around 40 pounds. I love to run and play! I love other dogs, children, people, and even cats. I am very fast because I love to run, but I also come back whenever my foster mom calls me. I am very agile and can jump high. Maybe someone can teach me to do agility or Frisbee? I crate well overnight, but I would rather sleep in bed with my favorite person. I like to snuggle on the couch too. I love to find a nice spot to look out the window while my foster mom is gone. I am curious and happy. I love people wherever I go?and they love me too! I am exuberant. I love life! I am laid back when I am not playing. I like to find a nice play to lay down and watch every thing that's going on. My foster mom thinks it is adorable when I cross my front paws and lay like a sphinx to watch the day go by. I am very smart and attentive. My veterinarian says I am in excellent health. My heart rate is unusually slow but my cardiologist says it is because I am in such excellent condition. I do not require any treatment for it, but lots of exercise will help me maintain such good health. No dog is perfect here is my downside?I would do best in a home where I can get lots of exercise and with either a 6 foot or underground fence since I can easily jump a standard height chain-link fence. A family with an immaculate lawn may not like me because I occasionally dig very small holes. I still have a few manners to learn I like to jump up and kiss to say hello. But it is only because I am so happy. I hope I can find my forever home soon because the permanent dog here at my foster mom's house is very bossy and likes to bite me and steal my toys and food.
