Leo is one of 8 Rottweiler/Catahoula mix puppies rescued from the Austin shelter. We are estimating their birthday as 12/25/2005.

Leo was probably the "runt" of the litter, but you would never know now and he could not have cared less then or now. Leo has the typical Rottie markings with his natural tail. The Catahoula in him makes him a bit slimmer than a typical Rott and with a little longer, thinner muzzle. He has the Catahoula sickle tail too. Everyone has always been engaged by his beautiful light hazel eyes that almost match his coat.

Leo will need to be an inside dog. He has shown signs of being able to figure out escape routes but if kept inside as required he should be absolutely fine.

Leo is very laid back...likes to go with the flow. Don't let that fool you into thinking he won't mix things up a bit here and there...he does have his feisty spells but all in all he is extremely calm for his age. Aside from playing with his dog friends and loving on his family, Leo loves to independently wander around the yard and take in the sights and sounds.

Leo is a very sweet pup and would love an active adopter or family to go on adventures with but who would also maybe also let him sleep on or near their bed in the ac.
