(See U-tube video!) Meet Carl! He was rescued from the Baldwin Park Shelter. Carl is a mix of Border Collie with either American Bulldog or Lab. He has a very upbeat personality and friendly nature. He is super dog social. Carl is about one and a half. He loves to fetch the ball. He is a great dog for dog park. He also loves the wading pool. Carl is basically a happy, playful, no issues dog who is very people and dog friendly, responsive and obedient, and very potty-trained. He seems to know his proper boundaries with children. He is also OK with cats. Carl is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped and similar in size to a male Lab. The reason Carl is not adopted yet is because I wouldn't let him go to a home as an only dog because Carl is so dog social and loves to have a friend. However, I will consider Carl going as an only dog if the family that adopts him frequents doggie park. Finally, though not a requirement AT ALL, if you are young and active and have a decent-sized yard and wish to have two great dogs that really love each other consider Carl and Cassie together. This is only wishful thinking on the rescuer's part - Please do not pass Carl over due to that statement. However, Carl seems happiest in a home with at least one other canine friend.
