Here's what the humans have to say about me:
JETHRO HAS BEEN ADOPTED!Jethro is an adorable 8 month old Beagle/Spaniel mix pup in need of a family!! He's about 35 pounds right now and not expected to get much larger. Jethro was originally found as a stray in southern IL and found himself in a very crowded pound in southern IL. It was soon discovered that Jethro somehow during his travels, tore his cruciate ligament and needed surgery A.S.A.P. Jethro's surgery was not in the budget for the small rural shelter and he was slated for euthanasia. A volunteer with Pal's Place heard his story and could not bear to see such a nice dog be put down for a repairable injury. Jethro has since been transferred to a foster home in Chicago and is recovering nicely from his surgery. He will be ready for a new home mid June. He's a very happy and friendly puppy that gets along well with everyone and will be a great companion. He's crate trained and is housebroken when kept on a regular schedule.
Jethro's adoption donation is $250. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. AAA relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Jethro from euthanasia.
