My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Josie was turned in at the Los Angeles Downey Animal Shelter on 11/12 by her owners because they didn't have time for her. She was already spayed, has a most pleasing nature and loves to play catch. The shelter staff felt she was extra special and survived 7 weeks at the shelter without being euthanized. She loves to play ball and is very devoted tow homever she bonds with and is very bondable. She may also have a dash of Border Collie in her background. She doesn't shed due tot he poodle curly coat. She is a slim 25 lbs but could afford to gain a few lbs. Josie has a short curly (poodle type) furcoat and is black with white on her chest and paws.. She is pas all the juvenile and adolescent silliness and would be great for someone who enjoys walks, like to play catch with her, hang out and just be. She deserves a forever home and is just 7 years young. She has grey around her muzzle but it's more part of her coloring pattern then real "senior gray". Josie's teeth are in good shape overall and she has been microchipped and is current on her shots. Email for a pre adoption application to corgially@mindspring.com.
