My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Squirt is an incredibly unique-looking, happy and friendly five-year-old, 70-pound, tri-color Basset Hound/Coonhound-mix (best guess) waiting for a loving home at Animal Adoption Associates in Chicago. Squirt’s elderly human went into a nursing home and her family turned Squirt over to the Crawford County Humane Society in Robinson, Illinois. Sadly he sat there in a cage since last March … Luckily this gentle soul was transferred to a Chicago rescue group where he can be adored, and find his new family. This handsome guy always has his tail wagging. He is great with other dogs and loves people. Squirt is housebroken, crate-trained, and is well-mannered in the home. To meet and possibly adopt Squirt, please contact Samantha at harrisam15@yahoo.com or 773-615-9864. His adoption donation of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of AAA. Squirt is extremely healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, micro-chipped and de-wormed.
