Paco is a very special boy, looking for a very special home and family. Paco was severely abused by people who used him as a bait dog. Although he has healed from his physical wounds, he sometimes lacks confidence and feels insecure. Once he knows you, he is very loving, affectionate, loyal and devoted. He is good with some dogs and has a best friend named Peanut. They love to play together and romp in the fenced yard. Paco is housetrained and crate trained. He likes to nap on his doggie bed and take walks with his people. He is a very smart dog, looking for a confident, dog-experienced leader. When you take the lead, Paco is happy to submit that role and relax because he knows it isn’t his job and that makes him feel better. Give Paco the home he deserves and assure him he’ll never know pain like that again. Adoption fee: $75.

Adoption Process:
Send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week trial run with the pet as part of your family. This is a trial period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the trial time and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption.
