Urgent foster care is needed for them if a new home cannot be found by the middle of February. Laya is the blonde and Luke is the black/blonde. Both have been altered and are 4-years of age. They have lived together since birth as they are brother and sister. They are Yorkshire Terrier/Pembroke Corgi mixes who are very loving, sweet, and playful dogs. They have been around young kids since they were puppies and love the 2-year old they currently live with. Both of them are calm around her. They have not been exposed to cats, but we can help introduce them to see if they will be okay around them. Their current family rescued them from a relative who didn’t pay any attention to them and left them in the garage all the time. Now the new family is in the position where they have to move and the new home has a very expensive pet deposit that their people cannot afford. They are housetrained, share a crate together, know how to use a dog door and know some basic training but could benefit from a refresher course. Laya is a bit shy at first but warms up to company quickly. They are well mannered dogs and are looking for their forever home to share their compassion and love with. They are current on all their vaccines as of November 2009. If you would like to foster or adopt, please fill out the adoption application. These sweeties will make a wonderful addition to any family!
