My story

Kelly was held in the pound as an evidence for a neglect case, along with her newly born puppies. Once the case was closed, the puppies were adopted out, but Kelly was to be put to death for lack of adoptive home. She was a volunteer favorite at the pound and Forte Animal Rescue was contacted. After what she has gone though —neglect, birth and losing her babies— we could not turn our back on her. She’s indeed a sweetheart, and she now needs a forever home that will treasure her and love her for the rest of her life.
