Tis the season for helping others. Can you help us out?
We’re sisters and have been providing blood donations to help save other dogs for several years. Now, in retirement, whenever people meet us they always say: “Wow! What a gorgeous pair of dogs!” We appreciate your compliments but what we really want is a warm and loving forever home. It’s the only thing on our Christmas List this year. We are both very intelligent, visually stunning and extremely loving girls. We’ve taken a few moments to write a little something about ourselves so that you can get to know us better.
Notch, named for the bit of ear missing, is a gaze-into-my-eyes and love me kind of girl. The 8 year old sister to Ant, they share many of the attributes. Notch's wiry coat has a lighter gray color against the white. Her cuddly head is very much like an Irish wolfhound's, the probable mix with greyhound of this pair. These siblings have been together since birth, so finding a home together would be best. Both did well in cat testing, but may be too set in their ways for very young children or incorporation into a home with another female dog.
Letter from Notch:
Hi! It’s nice to meet you, my name is Notch. I’m the older, more intellectual sister. I exhibit a classy demeanor and a loving disposition. I enjoy lounging on a soft bed (with my sister) while nodding off into dreamland. We come from two very distinct breeds: the Greyhound and the Irish Wolfhound. Although the warmth of the sun feels wonderful on our backs, we don’t like to be out in hot weather for very long. I don’t mind cats but small barking dogs intrigue me. All we want for Christmas is a warm and loving forever home. Will you adopt us? We promise that you won’t regret it!
