My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Preston is a German Shepherd/Rat Terrier Mix. He is Fawn/Black. Preston is 1 Year Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 30 lbs.

Preston is a total sweetheart. He gets so excited whenever people come over to him, he gives you a big kiss and leans up on you and tries to give our his favorite, HUGS! He is very playful, not sure about fetch yet but he loves to watch the ball being thrown into the air. He loves new people, dogs, everything he's a very cheerful guy. Preston is very good on the leash, likes to go for walks especially where they'll be new dogs to meet. He would make a great companion because he likes to stick by your side.

Preston would do great in an active household. He loves to go for walks, and would love a visit to the local dog park to play with new puppy pals. He does great in the car, likes to stick his head out the window to feel the breeze. Preston loves people of all ages, he does great with kids because he likes to follow them around, especially when they have treats! He would love a family with a big backyard where he could run daily, or someone to walk him so he can get daily exercise and fresh air. Preston is a very sweet boy who would love a family of his own, a canine companion would be a bonus, and also he loves children so a big family would suit him just fine. He's just waiting for a family to love him.

Preston is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.

At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.


There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
