My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mae was found along the side of the road (SC state rd 200) with her 3 babies. One had just been hit by a car.. It took a while to chase her and the remaining 2 pups. After a good flea bath, Mae went to the vet to deal w/ her parasites (inside and out)...she stayed for a month! Her babies were placed and Mae was released from the vet and has been a fixture here ever since....that was 2005. Due to the way Mae was discarded ..... dropped on the roadside while pregnant.... Mae learned to hunt small game to feed her babies. Hence, small game and small dogs look like prey to her. Mae was easily leash and house trained. She is an excellent house dog and has never had an accident. There was such a puppy overflow from '08 to '10 that Mae was kenneled. She does not potty in her kennel. When adopters have come to look at other dogs, Mae dances for them. She is anxious for one family to love and receive all the love and attention you can give. Mae has grown into a lovely lady that likes to play and explore. Of all the dogs who have crossed our threshhold, Mae is an exceptionally loyal and loving girl. Please consider giving Mae a loving home for her retirement years.
