Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Franklin is an energetic, very sweet and loving one-year-old, 44-pound male Vizsla/Doberman-mix looking for a loving home. Franklin has some neurological damage so he has some balance problems, and repetitive movements like running in circles. Despite his challenges, Franklin loves to run around and play in his foster mom’s yard like the happy boy that he is! He is an attentive boy and has already learned to sit on command. Franklin gets amped up around other animals, so he’s looking for a quiet home as the only pet. Rather than a crate, because of his special needs, he is best confined in a small area, and is working on his housetraining. Sadly, Franklin was relinquished to the pound with heartworm disease. He has finished his treatments and is now ready for a new home. To meet and possibly adopt Franklin, please fill in an adoption application at http://www.ildoberescue.com and you can follow-up to ask questions or meet him by contacting his foster mom Sandy at siouxland@comcast.net or Pam at (847) 277-1082. His adoption donation of $225 benefits the rescued pets of Illinois Doberman Plus Rescue. Franklin is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-free and on preventative, and treated for fleas and worms.
