My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Ginger. She is a sweet gal who looks like any other brown dog here in Gaffney, but in HER heart she knows she’s something special. Ginger is a loving gal who is gentle and kind and lives to have her belly rubbed. I have 4 here on my farm just like her, and they are the best dogs to have around. Like mine, this dog’s diluted breed mixing makes for a smart, well balanced canine companion who will probably live a very long life without many health issues.

Please rescue Ginger so she can have a life of love and treats, green grass and shade, and lots of gentle belly rubs…..

The animals at the shelter have five days to find a home. The Humane Society of Cherokee County, Inc., is the rescue and adoption agent for this shelter. We are trying to save as many animals as possible from this shelter by adoption. The $75 adoption fee includes all rabies, DHPP and bordatella vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, and heartworm test.

We are very rescue-friendly and will work with reputable rescuers to get these animals to safety. Thank you for helping us to save the life of a homeless, unwanted, and soon to be killed, shelter animal!
