Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Percy is a Dalmation/Pointer Mix. He is White with Black Spots. Percy is 7 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 22 lbs.
Percy is such a cutie pie. He has that adorable look about him. He loves to sit on the bed next to you and cuddle next to your side, if you have time to rub his belly he's very appreciative and will give you a kiss as a reward. He loves people, but is just a bit shy when you first meet him. He does walk on the leash, but is just a bit timid of the leash, so will need a bit of work in that department but with a harness he will walk alot better. Percy is a very quiet boy who loves to cuddle, but when he's in the mood he'll pick up a chew toy and carry it over to his dog bed, he doesn't really chew on it, just wants to pick it up and collect it for himself. He loves other dogs and will play around in the backyard with them, he loves to follow them around as they explore the yard. Percy would love a family that will let his personality blossom with that one on one situation. He needs some time to realize that the world is not such a scary place when there are nice people to take care of you. He would make a great companion dog, especially for younger children because of his gentle nature.
Percy would do well in a household with another dog, he loves the company and he loves playing around with other dogs so already having a dog would be a bonus for him. He also adores children because they love to follow him around and rub his belly and he also likes their kisses and cuddles. Percy is learning to walk on the leash, he is a bit timid but with some encouragement he moves along more smoothly. Because of his fear of the leash at times, a harness would be ideal for him. He loves going for car rides, and will sit his head on your lap once he's tired of looking out the window, he loves to go get ice cream cones from Dairy Queen. He plays great with other dogs, and loves to follow them around the backyard to see what they are up to. Percy is still a bit timid but he warms up once he knows you are there to keep him safe, he loves to cuddle once he gets to know you and won't leave your lap. He's looking for a family to love and cherish him.
Percy is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
