Nelson is a Pointer/Border Collie Mix. He is Black and White. Nelson is 1 year old. Nelson is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 43 lbs.
Nelson is a very handsome cuddle bug! He loves to wander around the house looking for people or dogs to hang out with. He loves snuggling on his dog bed with a squeaky toy and a fleece blanket so he can make a nest for himself. Nelson loves when the weather's nice so he gets to run around in the yard. He does laps around the yard while your outside with him. He loves to get all his energy out by running around or playing with other dogs. Then every so often during one of his running laps he'll run over to you for some cuddles and a hug and then go back to playing. Then when it's time for you to go back inside you say "Up" and he walks up the stairs and waits at the door to let him inside. Once back inside he'll find his comfy dog bed and take a nap. Nelson just wants a home to call his own and someone to snuggle with.
Nelson would do well in any household. He loves everyone he meets including adults, children and other dogs. He just can't stop wagging his tail! He loves playing and cuddling with other dogs, so another doggie pal for him to spend time with would be a great thing for Nelson! He loves sitting by the window in the car and looking out the window and then sticking his nose out so he can sniff everything as it passes by. He just wants a home to call his own and a family to share his life with.
Nelson is not aggressive with other dogs, she has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
