Quincy is a Shar Pei/American Bulldog Mix. He is Black & White. Quincy is 4 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 40 lbs.
Quincy is beyond adorable. He has that I'm a goofball face about him. He loves children adults, other dogs, other animals he loves them all. His new best friend here at the rescue is a 7 pound Dachshund. They cuddle together on the bed and little Landon the Dachshund chews on Quincy's ears. Quincy loves to cuddle he will jump on the couch or bed and snuggle next to your leg. He's very playful him being only 4 months old he loves to play with everything. He loves chew toys, and will nibble on your fingers as well in true puppy style! He loves the outdoors especially since he gets to run off all his energy in the backyard. He loves playing with the other dogs and especially having his friend Landon follow him around in the yard. Quincy loves to ride in the car, but he likes to be next to you so expect a co-pilot for the trip! He does well on the leash as well, but being a puppy he does want to go in the direction his nose tells him to and asks gently by tugging just a bit in the direction he wants to go. Quincy does well with children but since he is a playful pooch and he does have really sharp teeth at the moment, he would do best without really small children. He's very gentle in his manner, he doesn't jump up on you but he does have sharp teeth because he is a puppy. He loves dog beds as well, he'll ruffle them up and make them comfortable the way he likes them.
Quincy would do great in any household because he has such a wonderful personality and he's very playful. He does great with other dogs so a playmate for him would be wonderful. He also does great on the leash, he would rather play around outside then walk with you but with training he would be an excellent walking partner and also walking will burn off any extra energy he might have. We would like him to go to a home without any really small children, not because he's a jumper but because he has very sharp puppy teeth right now. He loves children of all sizes though, he gives them little kisses but tends to chew on fingers because of his puppy nature. He loves chew toys, especially big chew ropes he can drag around the house. Qunicy does like to sleep in the bed with you, he has a very cuddler nature, but will also sleep in his dog bed as well, he just ruffles it up and makes himself a nest. He does great in the car so trips with the family would be great for him as well. He is looking for a family with alot of love to give!
Quincy is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors. There is a $95 adoption fee for puppies, and a $85 adoption fee for Adult/Senior Dogs.
