My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Serena was a litter of 6. When the owners couldn't "sell" HER, they were just trying to give her away as they surely didn't want to take care of her. A family took her from the neglect to save her life, but knew they couldn't keep her. They turned her over to our rescue. Serena is about 9 months old and only 4.5 lbs. She is EXTREMELY underweight. She is a bit skittish, but warms up to you after about a day. She gets attached to the person who gives her the most attention. She is a little peanut that is really thriving on all the attention I give her. We'd like to see her go to a home with no other dogs or a small breed dog like herself as she does get intimidated by the larger dogs. She can be nippy until she knows you, as she's very scared and we think she was abused, so we'd prefer older kids or no kids for now. She is current on all her shots, microchipped and will be spayed prior to adoption. Her adoption fee is $250.
