Meet OLIVER! He is a very special little guy who needs a very special family! He was born with a deformed front paw. It does not limit him in any way! He is affectionate, playful and a really good boy! He walks, runs and plays just fine! He has even started crate training and potty training (and is doing great with both!) He is in foster care and we have been checking in with our vet regularly. At this point his paw is not causing him any problems, pain or limitations. So, we feel it is in his best interest to let him continue growing and developing while monitoring any changes due to his paw. If it starts presenting problems there are some surgical options. Right now they are not needed, so our vet feels that it is best that we take a wait and see stance. Lots of animals (and people) live completely normal lives with congenital defects. It only makes Oliver more special in our eyes!
