Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Timmy needs a new home. Due to circumstance beyond our control we must regrettably find a new home for this sweet dog. Timmy is about 5 years old and was a rescue from a dog shelter in Indiana about 4 years ago. From what we were able to gather he had been neutered and brought back to the shelter before he was rescued by the Rover Rescue group. He is believed to be possibly part Basenji and part Fox Terrier. He is about 15 pounds of fun. He is all up to date with his shots. He has had a broken leg in the past but you would not know it.
Timmy is an energetic and inquisitive little dog. He knows some basic commands and walks or runs on a lead. He is housebroken. He would be ideal for a family or a person or persons who like to walk or even run with him. Looking to increase your FitBit steps? He is your new buddy. His energy knows no bounds. He actually ran alongside me while I was training for a half marathon years ago.
He is super friendly with people and is tolerated by our cats. (He wants to play, they do not). He does not get along with other dogs however. He would be best with an owner that would be the boss. If you had a fenced in yard he would enjoy that as well, especially if it is frequented by squirrels and other fast animals. The terrier in him wants to catch small animals.
In addition to this sweetie, you will get his lifetime Bark Buster contract to help him adjust to your home, his dog carrier and the rest of his stuff. If Timmy sounds like your new best friend, please contact Teri at 630-897-7454. The adoption fee is $200.
