Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Priss was found by a police officer after she had been hit by a car. She was turned over to the local high-kill animal shelter which is where we got her. She had multiple facial lacerations and her jaw had to be sewn back together and wired. Her bite is off just a bit, but she has healed up wonderfully! She is approximately 6 months old and weighs around 30 pounds. We believe she may be a Great Pyrenees / Husky mix. Priss was extremely unsocialized when we got her – she would scream if you tried to touch her. But now, she loves to be loved on and seeks out attention. Priss is a gentle soul in a big body. She doesn’t jump on people or on furniture. She isn’t a big barker. She would love to go to a home with children and/or other dogs so she can continue to learn how to be a puppy! Priss is doing well with house training – she will turn in circles when she needs to go potty. At night, she sleeps in her bed in her foster mom’s room.
Priss is being fostered in West Tennessee and will be transported once her adoption is finalized. If you are interested in adding her to your family, please go to www.goofyfootrescue.org to complete an online adoption application. She is currently being fostered in West Tennessee and will be ready for transport on March 3. Transport runs to Harrisonburg, VA; Hagerstown, MD; Harrisburg, PA; Allentown, PA; Bedminster, NJ; Southington, CT; and Willington, CT.
