Here's what the humans have to say about me:
The first thing you notice about Tweety is the love and positive attitude that is always with her. It's surprising considering this beautiful Corgi/Pekinese mix was homeless in rural Kansas and out of options..and ended up in a dismal high-kill shelter. But you would never know it! Tweety has a spirit that is so sweet and loving (once comfortable)...and so devoted to anyone who shows love and caring for her. A soft pat is so gratefully accepted...a belly rub is nirvana. Once thing that is certain is that this lovely girl appreciates all kind gestures..and returns the favor a thousand times over.
Tweety's challenging early life taught her to always give love and devotion with all her heart...and when she is acknowledged, the joy starts at her wagging tail and moves up to her expressive eyes... brimming with appreciation for even the smallest touch.
At 19 lbs and 18 - 24 months old, Tweety has a long lifetime ahead to enjoy the best of life in a permanent home. The efforts of many contributed to the rescue, foster and arrangements for Tweety to get her boarding pass to Colorado. The consensus was unanimous that this exceptional pup earned her ticket...with an engaging personality and so much love to give that it might just overflow.
Tweety will be up to date on her vetting/vaccinations to be in line with our commitment to adopting out healthy and well-balanced pups. Farfel's has requested that Tweety be spayed prior to her transport to Colorado. If this doesn't occur, Farfel's is happy to cover all costs for her spay and microchip if our Denver vet is used.
Tweety will be arriving on transport in Denver on Thursday 2/16/17. If interested in this very sweet lap-dog extraordinaire and loyal best friend, please fill out an application at http://farfelsrescue.com/adoption/ and submit to farfelsapps@gmail.com or fax to 303-443-7730.
