My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Goldie! She's a 5 year old sweetheart who weighs 26 pounds. Goldie has the head and coloring of a Golden Retriever and the body and curled tail of a Shiba Inu, but her actual breed is unknown. She is house-trained, crate trained, and walks nicely on a leash. She is not much of a barker, only when she's trying to tell you something! She is fine with other dogs, both large and small, but is most interested in being with people. Who can blame her?

Goldie was in a shelter for 6 months, but not available for rescue due to legal issues. Now she is up for adoption and living in a foster home, where she enjoys long walks, head massages, and taking naps on her own big soft doggy bed. Goldie hopes to find a home where she can be part of a family and not left alone all day. If you are looking for a medium-sized, middle-aged dog with a golden personality, she might be the dog for you.

Goldie's adoption fee of $310 includes vet exam, dental cleaning, DAPP, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations, routine deworming, flea/tick preventative, Heartworm test (negative) and Heartworm preventative, microchip, and spay.
