My story

Introducing YARDLEY!
She is a tiny 5 pound, 1-2 year old, spayed female, chihuahua/bichon blend. Her previous owners had no time for her, or desire to keep her. She was rescued in the nick of time and needs a home to call her own, forever. She is playful and affectionate. Does well in a wire crate without a fuss. She is making progress with potty training but will need more work. Seems very smart and eager to learn and would likely do well in a beginner training class. Loves crinkly, squeaky toys, and gets along with other small dogs. Seems intimidated and afraid of larger dogs however. Preferred home has a yard she can play in supervised, no children under 12, no large dogs, and an individual with time to spend with her. Some flexibility on preferences will be considered.

Yardley is spayed, has all age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm negative, and is micro-chipped. Comes with a health certificate.

She is currently in a foster home in San Antonio TX and can be transported to your area once adopted.

Local adopters must meet same requirements as out of state adopters.

Adoption fee is $170, and transport fee to the East coast via Rescue Road Trips is $185. Air travel, at airline rates plus the cost of a crate and crate accessories, possible.
