My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miley is an adorable, healthy, fun, playful and loving eight-month-old, 10-pound, female tri-color Yorkie/Rat Terrier-mix puppy looking for a loving guardian.

Miley loves to be held in your arms and give you kisses. She is trained to use pee pads inside. While she’s great on leash, she hasn’t learned that going outside means relieving herself.

Miley is trained to sleep in a crate, and has always lived with other dogs. She does a little growl at cats, but I think in time, she’ll be fine with them too!

She is extremely sweet and good with people of all ages, as far as I can tell. She grew up with children and her family gave her up because the kids promised to care for her … but didn’t.

I don't think she's hypo-allergenic, but she is very low-shedding.

Miley is extremely healthy, spayed, fecal-tested, up-to-date on rabies and distemper, bordatella and canine flu vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested negative, and on monthly heartworm preventative.

She is currently living with me in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood. Her adoption fee of $350 benefits the Friends of Petraits Rescue.
