My story

If you are looking for a little dog with giant doe eyes, then you need to meet Alfie, a new arrival from the county shelter. Alfie is a 15-pound mix of Cairn Terrier and Lhasa Apso. He has high self-esteem and he knows that no one can resist his puppy-dog eyes. Alfie is cool with being picked up and given a squeeze by everyone he meets. He is five years old and he has the energy of pups half his age. Alfie is great on a leash and he enjoys playing in the Small-Dog Playgroup. The adoption fee is $200 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit with our vet. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm, and Mondays by appointment, and we are located at 10220 N. 32nd Street (just south of Shea Blvd.) in Phoenix. We offer a low-cost vaccine clinic on Sundays from 11:00 am-2:30 pm, and a low-cost dental clinic on Wednesdays by appointment. Visit our website at www.homefurgood.org for more information.
