My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Benji, we believe he is a Carin Terrier Dachshund mix. He is 21 lbs and about 6 years old.
What we know so far about Benji is he was a stray that ended up at our local shelter. He was a little overwhelmed at the shelter and when he was meeting with as possible adopter at the shelter he snapped at a small child most likely from fear and the shelter surroundings. The shelter staff re-evaluated him and found him to be playful and social. Due to the incident he needed to be rescued so AH4S stepped in and saved him.
At his foster home he is energetic, playful, perfect with other dogs, good in the car and appears so far to be house and doggie door trained. He is a little scared of men and due to the prior incident it's probably best to not have small children in the home.
