My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Walter Weebles is the friendliest, happiest little man! Walter is 5 years old and about 17 pounds, and is GREAT with everyone! He loves other dogs, is great with cats and bunnies, and is great with kids!

Walter is "special needs" because one of his front paws is deformed, most likely as a birth defect. It doesn't slow him down much though! He is playful and loves to go for walks. No hikes up the mountain for this guy, but he keeps us just fine with his 4 legged canine foster brother on walks. Our vet has said since he does rest on the crooked leg and it causes him no pain, then they don't recommend that we operate on it.

Walter loves to play with his toys and loves attention. We would love to find Walter a home where there is another small dog to play with and possibly even kids that will give him lots of love.

Walter is neutered, up to date on vaccines, negative for Heartworm and Lyme disease and come with a microchip. He is ready for his family!

Walter Weebles is being fostered in Worcester, MA.

The adoption fee is $350.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
