Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome boy's breed was such a mystery that a DNA test was done. It basically came up too mixed to determine, with a couple of grandparents being Rat Terrier and Dalmatian. We suspect he is primarily Black Mouth Cur based on photographs of that breed. The DNA company did not recognize Black Mouth Cur as a breed, so even though they didn't come up with it doesn't mean that's not what he could be. In any event, he's a gorgeous mixed-breed dog, who weighs 51 lbs and is full-grown.
Max is a bit timid, so will do best with a person or family willing to give him the time he needs to adjust to his new life with them. He's very sweet and not at all aggressive, just a bit timid. He is a pup who will need to be met in person to determine if he is a good match for your home. He is house-broken and crate trained and gets along well with children and other dogs. He has not been around cats, so we do not know if he is cat-friendly or not.
If you think you might like to give Max a home, please visit our website: www.jojosdoghouse.com and download an application, or email jojosdogrescue @gmail.com and we will send you an application. Adoption fee is normally $250 but Max is sponsored so his fee is $150, which includes neuter, heart worm and parasite prevention, up-to-date vaccinations and microchip with lifetime registration
