Earlier this month, ADA came to the assistance of our rescue friends in Wise County with a hoarding case involving 25 dogs in need of urgent medical care and rehabilitation. We happily came to the rescue of Birdie and 3 others from the household. Birdie is a true Southern Bell! Prim and proper, excellent manners, loving, gentle, and enjoys getting pampered for the first time in her life! She is great with people of all ages, and other dogs too! She loves walking through the neighborhood, or hanging at the dog park. Donations to ADA helped us pay for heartworm treatment, and she has recovered beautifully!

$175.00 adoption donation ($200 for puppies under 6 months old) helps us take care of all the dogs we rescue. All dogs are spayed/neutered, tested for heartworm and tick borne diseases (if old enough) , microchipped and vaccinated for rabies (if old enough), distemper/parvo and bordetella. They are also treated for internal and external parasites if needed. Many dogs also receive extensive medical care such as surgeries and dentals.
