Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shepard was surrendered along with his siblings to animal control by a homeless woman whose dog had given birth. They were just days old at the time.
Shepard was bottle-fed and cared for in a clean and loving home with his brother Sloan.
He has grown up around kids, adult dogs and lots of love. DNA testing was done and it has shown that Annie is a Border Collie, Lab and Staffordshire Terrier mix. He is black and white with a soft and fuzzy coat. He has beautiful soulful, grey eyes.
Shepard is very smart, is crate trained and is beginning his potty training. He is curious, confident and sweet, loves people and kids, other dogs and belly rubs!
Shepard will likely be in the 45 to 55 lb range and about the size of an average Border Collie. He has been dewormed and has had his first set of puppy shots.
Shepard's adoption fee is $350.
NorCal Bully Breed Rescue is a foster based rescue with foster homes spread all throughout the Sacramento area. We usually require our adopters to be within a 50 to 100 mile radius of us, depending on the dog, and depending on the home. This is because we need to do a yard check to guarantee that the potential adopter's yard is secure, and also have them be close enough should any behavioral issues arise, and the assistance of our trainer is needed. We are, however, willing to adopt out of our area, including the Bay Area, Tahoe, and even further. We've even adopted out of state on very special occasions. We try our best to match our dogs to the perfect homes, and match them based on their personalities, not their looks. Adoptions are not done on a "first come, first serve" basis, rather in the order of what homes are the right match for that particular dog. Our adoption fees are based on the dog and range from $200-$350. In the case of senior dogs (6+ years), fees will be waived to the right home. This includes spay/neuter, vaccines, microchip, and deworming (if necessary). If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, you can visit our website at norcalbullybreedrescue.com and fill out an adoption application (from your home computer). Please allow at least 24 to 48 hours for a reply. Thanks in advance.
