My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Greetings, I'm Marta. I'm a regal Siamese mix with sparkling blue eyes and I come from a faraway land where I was Queen, Ruler of the Known Universe. I came here when my famiy moved overseas and couldn’t take me with them.

Being the Aristocat that I am, it was a little hard for me to adjust to having to deal with all these minions in such close proximity. Now that I've relaxed, though, I'm now even almost friends with the cats I live with!

I tend to be very opinionated, but in a normal home situation where I can spread out (girl needs a little room, after all), I'll probably be even more friendly. I'm the first one at the door, ready to greet you when you come home. I'll purr and give you head bonks and I enjoy petting and laptime. At 12 years old, I've earned my right to be handled the way I want to, and will let you know when I've had enough petting with little love bites! I was declawed somewhere along the way, so I will definitely have to be an inside kitty. I'll do best in a calm, predictable home without small children or dogs.

I've realized I can do OK with other kitties, even if they're all beneath me, but I'd really love to find someone who wants just one gorgeous older lady to be the queen of the castle. Even better if I were the only Queen in a 10 mile radius, but I'll settle for one forever family. I will prefer someone who's had experience with catering to the every whim of royalty like myself.

They tell me I'm a senior, but that just means I have a special adoption fee of $60. That includes my negative virus testing, spay, microchip, vaccinations, food and litter starter kit and a free vet visit voucher. Please come by and I'll arrange an audience. Gifts of cat treats are always most welcome.
