Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This sweet little one year old girl is looking for a family to love her and keep her safe. A lady found her with an injury to her leg. She took her home and spent the next day and a half calling around to find a vet that would look at her at no charge as she had no money. After no luck, she called the shelter to see if they would help her and they said they had no funding for vet care. With no other option she took sweet Dory to them to have her put to sleep. One of the officers thought she was too cute so he took her to the spay clinic and asked them to try to find a rescue for her. They called me and said they had a dog with a "hurt leg", would I take her. I said ok but I can't come and get her till the next day and could they spay her while she was there. The next morning they called and said her back leg was just dangling and there was no way they could spay her. So I rushed to get her an hour away and took her to my full service vet where he put in a screw and wires to fix her up. The poor little 8 lb baby girl suffered with a leg completely broken in two for three days, She has now had the wires removed and is fully healed and spayed. She is doing very well and doesn't even limp. She is in a foster home with other small dogs and a cat that she likes very well but she is very shy with people. Also children make her very nervous. We are trying to find her a quiet loving home with no children just because she will be more comfortable there. She is just a loving little lap dog.
