My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oscar is a wonderful, lovable dog! He is housebroken and has just finished a series of obeidence classes where he learned how to 'sit', 'lay down', 'come' and some techniques on walking, he is doing very well with this and is always ready and willing to practice. Oscar loves attention and he is happy laying down at your feet or next to you while you are watching TV. He loves to be outside, either hanging out in the back yard or going for walks. He is only around 8 months old and has a good level of energy and is lots of fun to take out and about. He is also a good napping companion. He loves children and is delighted to see and play with other dogs. Oscar has been crated during the day and he is used to the crate, he does not like it much, but he is familiar with it. We are looking for someone that can be home to give Oscar the attention and love he deserves! Oscar loves to go for rides in the car. Originally Oscar was rescued with his siblings several months ago, but through no fault of his own, his adoptive parents had to return him to MAS Rescue. We were happy that he was returned to us, but are now looking for a permanent home for this lovable, snuggable, boy.

Oscar came from a high kill shelter in Georgia. We rescued him with his siblings just before they were to be euthanized due to overcrowding. Oscar was placed in a loving home, but the schedule changed and he had to spend too much time in the crate. We are looking for someone to give Oscar lots of love, attention, continue with his obedience work and mostly...his forever home. He is neutered and current on all of his vaccines. His adoption fee is $200. We hope Oscar's happily ever after is just around the corner!

Please be aware that it is the opinion of this rescue group, in conjunction with dog behaviorists, that a young puppy benefits greatly with proper socialization. We will only place puppies younger than 6 months, in homes where they have the opportunity to be with someone all day, or travel to work, or have special arrangements, such as Puppy DayCare, Dog Walker, etc.

Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. No guarantees are implied.
