Archer is a very friendly and loving Pekingese mix who seems to be low or non shedding. He has lovely white and grey fur that had to be shaved because of mats but it will be soft and fluffy when it grows out.

He is an enthusiastic, happy guy who has plenty of energy and will enjoy lots of fun walks in his new home. He really loves being outside and exploring while on the leash, but does not seem like he is used to leash walks so he will need to learn to walk nicely beside you.

Archer is very people oriented and likes to please you. He just came to us the day before his pictures and video but acts like he has been here forever. He is an adaptable, confident guy who is cheerful in about any situation.

He came with another Pekingese mix, a girl of the same weight and age as seen in his video, but he would be perfectly fine as your only dog if you just want one. Neither one cries or yearns for the other when they are apart so they do not need to be adopted together though both are still available if you want two sweeties! His priority is being with people.

We think Archer was kept in an outside area in his prior home and was exposed to mosquitos. He came to us from the Martinsville SPCA. His prior home did not give him heartworm preventative so he tested positive. He has already been started on the slow kill method, which just involves taking inexpensive medication routinely, and he can come home with you any time and begin his new and improved life!

Archer is 24.8 pounds and 7 years old. Adoption donation $150.
