Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is Sammy! He is a 3 year old Bulldog/Shar Pei/Pitbull mix with the most beautiful blue coloring any of our volunteers have ever seen. He is a handsome boy and although he has a commanding presence, he is a big mush! Sammy absolutely adores people and the attention they lavish upon him. He is very easy going and is completely house trained! Sammy is a low to medium energy dog - he enjoys a nice walk (and may we add that he walks very well on a leash!), but also is content to curl up an nap at your feet (or preferably on your couch!). Sammy came to us in rough shape with severe infections to his ears, eyes, and skin. With medication, good food, and lots of TLC, Sammy looks like a new dog! He has also had surgeries to both eyes to correct a lifelong defect and can now see and is pain-free for the first time in his life!. Sammy has a heart condition and will need to be on a long-term medication, but this does not affect the quality of his life.
