My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

William is a 1 year old, 15lb, cairn terrier/Havanese/poodle(?) mix.

William was dropped at a shelter in TX because his family did not have the time to take care of him anymore. It was clear that he had not been properly taken care of as he was pretty dirty and matted, and was so desperate for human attention. He has been doing so well in his foster home so far and is now on his way to CO to find his forever home. Here is what his foster has to say about him:

"William is a happy, very sweet and very adaptable guy. He will follow you around the house and just wants to hang out with you. He loves soft toys, with which he will play and carry them around. He does well in a crate and on leash even though he clearly has not known both before he came to our house. He is housebroken and will let you know when he needs to go (although regular walks would be great). He eats with great appetite and gets along well with our dogs. He loves to be cuddled, but also likes to be on the floor /on his own chair/bed, he will stay on your lap but is also good with sleeping alone. He is a great dog and will find a great home very quickly"

Since William is such an awesome little dog we are think he would be great in most family/home settings. He just needs love and to feel special.
