My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Clive was found abandoned living outside a restaurant with another dog who we also rescued. He was a mess and had to be totally shaved down. We are not sure what his breed mix is but he looks like a golden doodle mix. He is approx 1 year old and 40 lbs. He also has one blind eye and the vet believes it is old trauma and there is nothing that can be done. He will also be seeing the eye specialist for an opinion. He is a quiet dog, keeps to himself, not one for running and playing, gets along with most of the other dogs as long as they don't get in his face. He just prefers the quiet life. He will still need some leash and house training. He is learning quickly, but not quite there. He is not suitable for an apt and no cats. He is also not hypoallergenic as we are not sure of his breed mix and would not be good for allergies. He tested positive for heart worms and has been given the required series of injections, and is on a monthly preventative.

If you live in MA, there are new requirements for rescue dogs - according to the State Law, all rescues have to be quarantined for 48 hrs at the Ben Elder Kennels in Westport, MA. There is additional cost for this quarantine and new required health cert by a licensed MA vet. We will go over all fees with you via email.
