My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chino is a 2YO, 9lb, yorkie mix.

Chino was dumped at a shelter in TX with six other small dogs. It was clear that they had been taken care of and loved at some point. The woman who brought them to the shelter said she was getting older and just could not care for them anymore. The scary shelter and abandonment did not get Bubba's spirits down at all. He is such a good little guy! He is now in foster here in CO and here is what his foster Momma has to say about him:

"Chino is a pretty mellow guy. He is a velco dog and LOVES to follow me everywhere. He is a little afraid of men and will shake when they pick him up or approach him, but will NOT get aggressive with them. He is not a barker and likes to snuggle more than anything. He is not really much of a player yet, but with time and once he comes out of his shell he very well may be. He is super sweet and very well potty trained. I think his world was just so turned around that he is trying to re-figure out life. Once he gets settled in I think he will be much happier. He has SOOOO much love to give and is the most affectionate little man."

We believe that Chino would be GREAT for an older woman who has lots of time to spend with Chino, or a couple who will love him unconditionally as long as the male is willing to give him time to warm up.
