My name's Lydia. I'm a beautiful 7 year old Border Collie/Flat Coat Retriever mix. I need a new person to love because my mom's critically ill. Ooo, am I ever a love sponge, sweet and affectionate. Nothing makes me happier than being petted and cuddling close. I'm so eager to please that it's palpable. Like my purebred cousins, I'm an intelligent, active girl who needs consistent exercise. I adore running and playing. I'm good with older children, housebroken, great on leash and like car rides. If you give me a job to do, I'll do it. I'd do best as an only dog. My dream is a home where you can be the center of my world. A fenced yard is also on my wish list. You'll never meet a more devoted companion.
