My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"Scruffy" was rescued with his two siblings. He is a Jack Russell Terrier mix, who will grow to around 18-20 pounds, most likely. (we do not know what she's mixed with).

His breed is bright, clever, and athletic. He is on top of everything that's going on in his environment.

A solitary or sedate lifestyle is not suited to a Jack Russell Terrier. She requires full participation in the family and vigorous daily play sessions, especially ball chasing, which he tends to be passionate about – even obsessive. Too little exercise, too little companionship, and too little mental stimulation will quickly lead to boredom, which will in turn lead to destructive behaviors. JRTs are not apartment dogs!

The best home for Scruffy would be a home in which children over 12 are present.

Scruffy is currently working on crate training and potty training also in his foster home!
