Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
http://www.valleydogs.org/bear-bassetmix.html -- Hi I'm Bear and about the best dog you can find! My daddy is a Bassett hound and mama, well she's of mixed heritage. And I am a great combination of both. What I lack in stature (I'm a little vertically challenged), I make up for in cuteness and sweetness. I lived with my brother for 8 months, but he found his forever home, so now it's my turn. I'm very social, love all people and dogs. Cats are ok but not very interesting, and a little grumpy.
Since I'm used to having a companion, I really would like a home with a best friend about my size to play with. I also love my people and will curl up with you on the couch or by your feet. I'm crate trained but would much rather sleep wherever you are. I am mostly potty trained, and I prefer to go outside, but I am still a puppy and can't always wait. Come and see me at Petsmart and see what a great addition I would make to your family!
Wouldn’t you like to meet me and see how cute I am?? If so, please complete an adoption interest form and email adopt@valleydogs.org.
