Meet Augustus Gloop! This adorably charming 8 year old low rider came to us from a rural shelter in pretty bad shape...he weighed 58 lbs!!!! He had hot spots, enflamed ears riddled with infection, masses on his back and rear,a bad elbow, and in need of a good dental cleaning! A couple bath's, one surgery, ear meds and antibiotics, lots of love and TLC this Corgi is feeling like a new man! We removed the masses and he got a dental and he is currently on a diet and exercise program in a foster home. He could not be a nicer dog! He adores other dogs! He will beg you to rub his belly and there is no way you can meet him and not be completely enamored by his adorable personality! Gus is deaf and we would prefer a home with a yard for him since he has an injured elbow and arthritis but a ground floor apartment with a balcony for him to get sun would also be ok. He loves to lounge outside in the sunlight. If you are in the market for a mature, low and long dude "Augie" is your dude! He is neutered, current on vaccinations, has been fully vetted by our private vet, is microchipped, and house broken. Applications are available on our website.
