My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nickolas is near Allentown PA, and needs a foster or an adopter before he has to go back to TX - here is his story - Nickolas is an Old english Sheepdog mix,we think with Great Dane, as he has that regal stance.. He was found abandoned at a shopping mall on Christmas Eve in horrible condition. After two months of TLC, he is on his way to becoming a beautiful dog once more. He is approx 85 lbs and 1 year old.
He was in foster care with other dogs and did great, got along with everyone including the cats, loved to run and play and had buddies, but once he was adopted and went into a new home, he did not like the existing dog and tried to establish his dominance over her. He wanted to be the top and only dog, so even though he did great in foster care, we feel he may do better being an only dog with someone who can give him lots of exercise and love. He is a very sweet dog just needs the right home the adoption fee is $300.

The total adoption cost of $300 includes the spay/neuter, shots including rabies, bordatella, parvo, lepto, distemper and canine influenza, and micro chip with a lifetime pre paid registration . The total amount is payable to Shaggy Dog Rescue which is a 501c3. All our dogs are in foster care, there is no physical shelter. He is in CT and would need to be picked up by the adopter - .
