Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Misty is a Take Me Home courtesy post. Misty is not affiliated with Take Me Home. She is not under our care. Take Me Home is not responsible for any adoptions through private parties. For more information on Misty please contact Maria at: mtfaillace@gmail.com or 310-717-1458.
Meet Misty, a beautiful one-year-old Staffordshire Terrier/Greyhound Mix. Poor Misty got off to a tough start in life. She either lived most of her life as a stray or was kept outside/tied up, with little or no attention and almost no food. She was found as an emaciated stray and taken to a high-kill stray where she was lucky enough to be saved by a caring rescuer who was instantly drawn to her sweet face. Despite her rough start, Misty is extremely sweet and would love to sit in your lap all day and give you kisses. Not only does she adore people (and kids), but she also loves other dogs. She also seems to be good with cats.
Since Misty is still shy, what she needs most is a human who will spend the time giving her all the love and confidence that she needs and deserves. In return, you will get an incredibly faithful companion. Misty is very smart and is quickly learning her manners. We don't think she had ever been inside before, but she did great in her foster home and is now house-broken. She has also been going to doggy day-care and gets along great with the other dogs.
Misty walks well on the leash (but is still working on her confidence); loves to ride in the car; is micro-chipped; has all her shots; and is spayed. She's also a beautiful dog with a lovely white and blue/bridle coat. Once she puts on ten more pounds (she weighs 50 lbs at the moment), she will truly be stunning.
