Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello. My name is Sugar and I am pleased to meet you. I arrived at the rescue as a stray though my owners were found, no one has come to claim me. So here I am, at the age of 12, looking for a new home. What an adventure for a girl of my years! I am in very good health, although I am a bit on the plump side but walks and playing fetch are helping with that. I do have a bit of arthritis and hip issues but it does not slow me down much. Well I wasn't in a big hurry anyway! I have a good disposition and seem to be okay with the other dogs. I think cats are just fine. I met Ned, the resident cat, and we got along famously! I do LOVE to play ball. I do bring it back for you to throw again it just takes some time for me to decide to let you have it to throw again! I am tidy in my kennel and not at all destructive. I will bark when left alone for a bit, but I realize you can not be with me 24/7 so I will calm down.
I am so hoping someone will be looking for an older girl just like me to be there companion. Someone to relax with, talk with and walk with. I am hoping for a nice warm, loving home to hang my leash for the rest of my years. I do hope you will call soon so we can meet.
