My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gilbert was found as a 3 month old puppy. It was pouring outside and he and his littermates were huddled together and covered and mud. It was clear that he had been left by an irresponsible human to die. Because of his rough beginnings, Gilbert has a harder time trusting humans. While it may take longer for him to warm up to you, it is well worth it. Treats definitely help! Once he knows you, he shows his cuddly goofy side! Gilbert would greatly benefit from the company of another dog in the home to show him the ropes and act as leader.
