Hello, my name is Dixie and I am 5-6 months old. I am what you call a Hybrid puppy. I am a mix of a Pomeranian/Toy Fox Terrier. It’s a good thing somebody recognized I needed help and called a Rescuer; my Angel. See, this is what happened. My Mommy and/or Daddy came from a backyard breeder and I was the last of my litter. I didn’t get “bought” – I don’t know why because I am so darn cute. So I because nobody wanted me, I didn’t get fed. When that was noticed by someone they took me to a vet who is friends with an IAR Rescuer who is now my foster Mom and guess what? I’m not hungry anymore and I don’t have to worry about being “bought”. I just wait here for my forever home. While I wait for that forever home, I get to play with the other dogs & cats that live her and boy, do I have fun with them. Even the big dogs. There are kids that come to play with me and I like them too. What I like the best is playing on the couch with my foster Mom. We play cuddle time. That’s my favorite. My foster Mom says if you’re looking for a cuddly puppy – that’s me! I’m learning this thing called “potty training” but I will learn because I’m a smart cookie. I follow the big dogs outside or you can teach me. So how about you call my foster Mom for that play date, I mean Meet & Greet? You can see how cute & cuddly I am and then we can go home together.
