Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet our 1 - 1 1/2 old sweetheart named Bella. Bella is a golden retriever / giant schnauzer mix. Bella is one of the happiest dogs. She loves everyone she meets and expects them to either wag their tail for her of bend down and give her hugs! Bella was pulled from a high kill shelter in TN. She weighs about 50 pounds. If you have ever the expression " wouldn't hurt a fly", well that is Bella. Bella is in a foster home with other dogs, large and small. She rides beautifully in a car so be ready for a passenger when you run to get the children from school. She loves to run and play with the other dogs and gets along with everyone. Bella is ready to meet her new family and call someplace HOME! Bella is house trained.
If you are interested in giving Bella a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly anytime with questions about the dogs at 901-651-6322 or Angela with questions about our adoption process at 203-909-8861.
Bella's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the spaying, micro-chipping, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), flea/tick prevention, vet examination. certificate of health and transport fee.
Bella is heart worm positive but she is so young, it has not affected her health. MAR will provide 18 months worth of HeartGuard and if given regularly every month, at the end of 18 months she should be heart worm negative.
Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
