Here's what the humans have to say about me:
PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE BIO for adoption information.
Edgar was pulled from a crowded shelter and we still think he is wondering how on earth he ended up in rescue. Edgar was loved once and obviously pampered. He is very much a lap dog who wants nothing more than a nice walk, stuffed toys and comfy beds. He can be vocal to make himself noticed and is not a huge fan of other dogs "rough housing." According to him, those young whippersnappers need to settle down and he is not a fan of sharing his toys. He is somewhere between 7-9 years old and would do great in a home with another calm dog, cats and/or older children. He is very well behaved in the house, and when being groomed, including his nails. This sweet guy is simply looking for a nice lap to lay on for the rest of his life! He does have a heart murmur but it doesn't cause him any problems.
Edgar's adoption fee is $200. <p> All MVPC dogs are heart worm tested, completely vetted, spayed/neutered, microchipped, crate trained and on a great potty training schedule.
ALL inquiries begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, www.miamivalleypitcrew.com--only submitted applications will receive a response. We do not adopt to individuals under the age of 25 except on a case by case basis. Because we are volunteer based and a home visit is required, we have a two hour adoption radius from Kettering, OH for our adult dogs and 75 miles for our puppies. Exceptions, though rare, may be made on a case by case basis but we must be able to do a home visit. Thank you for your understanding!
